How Many?

Hello i was just wondering how many bearded dragons everyone has? I am trying to see if it is just me but i feel like the beardies are very addictive. me and my boyfriend started out with two little girls and now it has grown to two males and 5 females. so i was just wondering if it was just us or other people feel like they are addicting once you own one and see how they are?

I started with 2 rescue beardies in August 2011, got 2 more beardies in December2011. I'd have more than 4 if I had the room!

Two. A boy and a girl. I must admit that I'm tempted to breed them when they are old enough. They would make BEAUTIFUL babies. Problem is, I know I would want to keep a baby. Can see where that is going...

I got them from PetSmart, and they're very happy little guys

I just recently discovered they were both boys!

I hope to get more eventually one day. Beardies are so addictive!

I had a female, Sweetie, 5 1/2 yrs old but she passed away in Dec from pneumonia

I only have 1 right now. Klaude's my first and I've had him since he was a baby and he is about 1.5 years old now. I really want to get more but since they shouldn't be housed together I don't want to have 2 large cages. Plus I think Klaude loves all the attention. He watches movies w/us every night and hangs around us in the living room a few hours each day and I don't know how introducing another one into the fold would be. When Klaude passes (and hopefully it won't be for a long time) I will get another one, but he keeps me busy even though I am tempted to get another one every so often.

Just out of curiosity, how do beardies react when another one is brought into the mix? Do they even notice? Since I have a male I would want to get a female b/c I imagine having 2 males isn't the best idea.

We have one. My husband is going to build a custom viv for Lincoln. I want to convince him to build a stacked unit; so eventually we can get another one. We also should wait for our dubia colony to to be up and running so the cost of feeding will be down dramatically.

I have 3. But one is technically NOT mine. It belongs to my mom, But he resides in my room.

Beardies are very, very, very addictive.
Like Pringles or Lay's potato chips...you can't have just one. :lol:
