how many times a week to feed live food to adult dragon

My dragon is at least 2 years old. I usually feed him live food three times a week and various veggies every day. I keep reading conflicting information, however, on how many times a week I should feed them live food. Some say every day, others say 2-3 times a week. What is correct?

When I do feed him live food, I let him eat as many as he wants until he stops.

My dragon seems healthy, just want to make sure I'm not under feeding him!

Care sheet of the long time breeder I got Arthur from. Either way, an adult should not be eating too much live food. You mostly want them to eat salad.

How is he at eating his veges? He should be eating a variety of veges and if he's good at that, he won't need so many bugs. I offer live bugs to my adult once or twice per week (full meal all he wants as you described) and sometimes I'll feed him some worms as a treat. I mainly focus on getting fresh veges for his salads and giving him as wide a variety as I can depending on what is fresh at the store.

I give some live insects each day .... not a lot though, and I offer greens too.

I do this because I know wild bearded dragons are more opportunities predators/insectivores than omnivores and I've seen scientific studies of wild dragons who had mostly insects in their stomach and not much veg matter at all, so I try to replicate this feeding behavior for my pet dragons.
