Hey all finally got rid of my stinky crickets and am now using supers as a staple. Just want to make sure im not over or under feeding my little guy. How many can he eat a day? How many feedings a day.

Right now Ive been giving him as many as he wants usually between 7-10 a feeding twice a day.

Also was thinking of getting some hornworms as a treat or secondary staple. How many can or should he eat a feeding? If say I do 1 feeding of supers and 1 feeding of hornworms a day?

Thanks in advance.

hi there, sorry your other post wasnt answered... maybe i can help you out some... at 7mths old as far as i know you are supposed to allow him to eat as many live feeders as he wants and of course offer greens in the morning. so thats good! if you go with the hornworms again its however many he wants to eat in a 10-15 min time frame, as you know they will stop eating when they are full =) you can mix it it up for him, i'm sure he'd like it.

The length requirement for feeding superworms is 16 inches, and preferably an adult dragon too. They're fine for a staple but just be careful and make sure to keep your dragon hydrated and make sure they are pooping regularly. 7 months is too young to feed supers, sorry.

I merged your 2 threads and put them here since you got responses on both of them. It makes it easier for you and other members to follow when all the info is together.

I didn't know there was an age requirement in addition to a length requirement. My boy is about 7 months old and 20.5" long. I plan on switching him to supers for a little while until my dubia colony is large enough to feed from regularly.

I actually measured him last night now over 18 inches little pooper snuck in another .5 on me. He is loving the supers though. Never seen him this excited for crickets.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
