Hi all. So I have a 5-6 month old dragon who is almost 17" long. I recently switched her from crickets to dubia (mostly because once she started eating dubia she now completely ignores crickets). But what she really really loves are her supers. I was hesitant to give them at first because of their chitin, but I read enough about her size being ok for them so I went ahead and tried them and they turned into her all time favorite food. She'll eat up to 15 medium-large dubia nymphs a day but sometimes I have to wait until around dinner time and not give her anything else just so she'll eat them.
If she sees me putting supers in a bowl she'll run/jump to the front of the cage and start scratching at it until she gets them. I'm currently only giving her about 5 or 6 superworms a day because I know the dubia are better for her. She's a chunky little thing, but she used to eat about 30-40 crickets a day, so I'm worried she isn't eating enough now?
