no dragon at 11 inchs would eat 100 roachs in one day unless they were total newborns and that is pushing it
mine eat 5 to 7 twice a day for a 10 inch dragon i feed 1 inch roachs
male to female should be 1:4 males eat each others wings if you keep enough carrots oranges and misting enough youll be fine but dont expect to feed for atleast 6 months ive had mine for 3 and started with adults and am now just getting babies they reproduce 4 times a year on average sometimes 5 they hold eggs for 4 weeks and have downtime inbetween breeding they dont just start reproducing again and again and again also normally if you have new prego females youll see some dead males as they just poop out after some breedings
Interesting... Both my dragons ate well over 100 a day when they were 10-11 inches. Plus greens.
1:4 works once you have enough total, but at first it is recommended to start with a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. After established, 1:5 to 1:10 works well also. Of the three roaches in my colony that have died of natural causes, none have been adult males. I have never had a male 'poop out' after a breeding. Also, I have not noticed a cool down period in my females, but then again, I don't have each one pee on a little pregnancy test once a month, so you could very well be correct, I just don't know.
Please understand I am not saying you are wrong and blah blah blah, I am speaking from my experience and all the accounts I have read. If your experience is different, that may be because your setup is different. Or your stock is different. These are living beings and all living beings have their quirks and differences.
