How long til he calms down

Harry is very ANGRY today

He was fine this morning, he ate a couple bites of fruit, laced with salad and sprinkled with the calci powder, then he had 7 super worms, then go all mad at me and black bearded me and puffed out and started hissing. Then he tried to attack my hand. Now every time I walk by his cage he lunges at me. He is shedding under his chin and on his belly and back, but he has done this before and he didn't get angry about it. Harry is 20 months old give or take and healthy. He has had an issue lately with his salad, but other than that he has been happy. What do I do?

i see he is shedding.
sometimes they get super cranky when they shed. if you can get him without getting bit i would put him in a bath.

did you happen to startle him at all when you were feeding him?

are you wearing a black shirt? ---> they sometimes see the black shirt as you threatening them, like a black beard. it took Mr Dargon a while to get used to me in a black shirt, since it was my work uniform i had to get him used to me wearing it around him. he's fine with it now.

He was fine while I was feeding him. I did nothing different today than any other day and he snuggled up to me while I put his worm bowl down. I am wearing a light grey shirt. It was odd because it was all of a sudden like a light switch. Yes he is shedding and that may be the reason. He has shed before but now it seems there is more coming off. I tried to get close enough for a bath, but I am too scared to get near his mouth. He chomped down on the water bottle pretty hard and I like my fingers attached to me not in his belly so I want to try to calm him down first. I know the bath would make him feel better, at least I am hoping.
This is him now. When they get mad like this I have heard it can take days for them to calm down, is this true?

it took Mr Dargon a few hours to calm down when he got scared and black-bearded.

not sure what caused him to do this so i don't know how long it will take.

you can always use a towel to grab him, that way he can bite the towel instead of you.
