My Bearded Dragon is now getting into her 11th year. I've googled their age and it says 10.
Vinnie is still full of life and I can see a few more
Years in her yet! This year she almost laid eggs for the 1st time in her life. In the past 3 months she's laid 57 eggs. I do have a 5 year old male but these eggs were infertile. Is there a chance that an 11 year old can lay fertile eggs?
How old to they actually live?

What a sweet and healthy looking little girl. :) She doesn't look a day over 10. You say she just laid eggs this year ? That's prtty amazing, she is a healthy girl and it shows. I don't know that she would have any trouble producing fertile eggs, the mating itself might be a bit rough on her, a new experience. Probably best to leave her be as an old maid .

Beardies have been reported to live 15,16 years but that's the very high end of the life span....and I THINK the world recorded is 18-19. You might Google that to check. I hope your girl has a few more good years left.

The oldest dragon I have heard of is 18 y/o. Its owner use to (still is?) be a list member. Not sure about the fertility question though, I haven't seen any studies on it.
Many of my reptiles will outlive me because my beaded lizards and gila monsters live 50+ years. Even heard that some 40+ year old ones laying fertile eggs.

That is so cool! I've never heard of someone keeping a gila monster as a pet. My local zoo has one, and its tank is so small. :( The poor thing has very little room to move around

Yeah, I have 11 gila monsters and 6 Mexican beaded lizards. Soon I'll have 17 beaded lizards. Eggs should hatch near the end of next month or early January. Gila monsters don't need much room, so a big enclosure isn't really needed. They spend 90% of their lives underground in a small burrow and only come out to eat and mate. They don't even eat frequently in the wild. They may only eat a couple large meals the entire year. I feed mine once a week just to fatten them up prior to the 4 month brumation in preparation for breeding. They don't eat during brumation, they just sleep in a 50-55°F room with no light.
The beaded lizards need more room so I have 100-210 gallon aquariums for the bigger lizards.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
