Taildrifter how is your beardie doing? Mine seems to have settled down and is eating her greens again but still only interested in a few bugs about once a week. Hasn't regain her weight loss yet.

Simon unfortunately passed away yesterday morning. I arrived home on Wednesday to find her black bearding and limp. She was still alive, but barely. The next morning she was alive but lifeless, hanging on by a thread. She passed away upon arrival to the vet's to be put to sleep. An autopsy was done and she was found to have cancer in her kidneys.
She is now buried in my front lawn, with a tree planted at the site as a memorial.

I'm glad to hear your girl is doing well, and hope hers is just spring fever and nothing more

So sorry for your loss. At least you know that you did everything you could to take care of her, and there was nothing else you could have done. There's usually not much they can do about cancer, and it's nobody's fault.

The memorial tree is a nice idea. I hope it will help remember the good times with her.

Oh gosh I'm so sorry?. Like the last post said there is a small comfort in knowing there is nothing more you could have done and she had a lot of love while she was with you.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
