I've had my beardie 4 days now, he's 6 months old and he's barely eating anything.
I give him a bowl of mealworms and collard greens in the morning but he doesn't really touch them and they're left in all day.
I've tried hand feeding him greens but he just opens his mouth, has a rethink then closes it again. On the few times he has actually eaten, which is only 1 worm or bit of green at a time, he will move up gingerly to the bowl constantly watching me as if he's stealing my food or something. When I look at him he freezes in place and watches me.
I put crickets in with him one day. Which he ate 1 of. He ate is really lazily though, just waited for it to come to him. He's not acting like the fast hunter I've seen videos of on youtube, where beardies will run over in excitement of getting food.
