I know about the heat rock and how it burns their bellies. How hot does it need to be to burn their bellies? Temporarily I might have to use a human heat pad. It is adjustable and I am testing the temps as I'm writing this. Any help appreciated!

You can place the heating pad on the side of the viv, not on the bottom. This way you won't have to worry about tummy burns ;)

You can mount a human heating pad on the side with velcro. one side of the pad meets the floor of the viv, in a corner, so the dragon can snuggle up to the pad if he/she desires, but isn't laying on it. This way the dragon can get warm on a cool night, but not burned.
Did I explain that well enough ?
Janie.

Yeah, thanks. I actually decided to go to the hardware store and get a flood lamp for temporary heating 'till the T-rex comes.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
