Hey guys, New baby beardie in a 20 gal tank. Basically curious how high they can jump? It seems to freak him out when i remove the screen top to feed. Question is can i remove it and place the heat lamp on a lamp stand? his basking spot is stacked stones basically in the middle of the tank just off to one side to form a hot and cool side. Its a good 8-10 inches from the top of the tank. Is it safe to remove the screen? could he jump out?
