how do you take your beardie in your car on vacation????

Hi all, i was wondering you would do that beacuse i hear alot of people doing that. do you just take there tank out put it in the car and: i have a outlet in my car, plug there uvb in :dontknow:

I used rubbermaid totes and they had handwarmers that were under their towels to keep their bodies warm. Then I took their heatlamps with me to use once they got situated.

Hi there,
For transporting my dragons I bought an old hamster house at a charity shop.
I put in a blankie on the bottom.
Then a hot water bottle.
Then another blankie.

Dont put too much water in the bottle or he will be too hot.
Just a little. It should keep warm for a good 4-5 hours.
If your travelling much longer than that you can stop at a gas station and fill up on hot water again (most places have coffee machines etc).

He's not really a fan of traveling. Dex on the other hand used to love it.

I have heard of people plugging in lamps to keep their dragons warm, but Ive never tried that myself.
I have a teeny little car which doesnt need anything else plugging into it!

thanks alot you guys for responding so fast and i\when i go on vacation the car im goin in is the 2008?09 town and country there is alot of romm do you think i can just put his tank in there with things you said ?
