How do you make water crystals???

So i have a 16 oz. container i bought b4 at a pet store that was full of the crystals. That was getting costly buying them alot!! so i ordered 2 pounds of dry crystals for 20.00 shipped.. how much crystal should i put in the 16 oz. container?? fill the water to the top?

you should use about a 1/4 ounce of crystals to 16 ounces of water. I use 1oz to 1 gal

I use 1/2oz of crystals per gallon. The object is to keep them from drowning.

ok the gallon makes more sense. can i use a plastic see throught milk containers tht are a gallon?

before I had just a single colony we used a half gallon tea picture very cheap .99 cent at wal-mart then as the colony got larger it went to a gallon. now we got threw a five gallon bucket every week

I bought the 1gallon canisters from walmart, they are like $2 and some change, they work great. I fill 5 up at a time now :*(

I'm at work right now but I believe I did mine 3 tsp crystals and 8 cups water
