How do you know when your ready?

To get another dragon?
Ive been putting off thinking about it for a while..
A couple of weeks ago, i wasent sure if i would ever get another..
The thought of them dying makes me extremely upset..
But if i think like that, im just going to become cynical, and never love anything again...
I have 2 free vivs now... and i feel if i dont push myself to get one soon, that im never going to get one...
Im just not sure what to do...

I'm guessing its much like any other pet you ever had only you will truly know, just having the set up isn't enough, but wanting to have a new pet in the house to love and adore. They will ultimately die but before then you can give them the best possible life and in turn be blessed by their companionship. My boyfriend has been debating for years to get one and in the end I just went out and bought the stuff to make the little guy happy at that point there wasn't much turning back. I guess my point is you either just need that push or to see the perfect little baby that you know has to be yours. The being scared and worried part is only natural.

I agree only you can know when the time is right.

When my girlfriends dog died she started to hate my dog because she missed hers so much, but now, over time, she and my dog are inseparable. I guess my point is don't rush it. She was forced to be around my dog before she properly grieved over her loss. If u can love a new little friend uniquely and not think of or compare it to your lost beardie then go for it, but there's no rush

you could subtly hint at someone to buy you one, that way if one shows up at your door you will have no choice but to keep it
