I am ready to order a colony of dubias to breed for my beardie.

I would like to get a plastic bin for them... how do I heat it? What size?
I would like to keep it on the floor, under the desk that my viv is on(if it fits), but I could keep it in the closet. Thoughts?

I do have a 20 gal L glass tank if I need it but since it is so much heavier I would rather do plastic; easier to clean.

I have been talking to the roach ranch and he seems like a good guy. Any advise there?

Thanks!

I use a 18gallon rubber maid bin(can use larger), screen on the top and sides, kept in my storage shed until winter, where heat tape will be used. only roaches to enter my house will be on death row. lol

I ordered mine from Jason at THEROACHGUY.com which should be here any day he is a great guy to talk to, very helpful and will help you get on the right track. on top of that if you are ready to order you can get the 1000 mixed roaches which will come with 35% more so 1350 and include 25 adult pair for $110 if you send him a PM he will help you get started.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
