Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to properly treat wood and rocks I find outside so that they are safe enough to be used as furnishing for my beardies enclosure. I am looking for the quickest way I can find as my enclouser is really bare and has been for a while, so I just want to get things in it as quickly as possible.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,
soaked them in the bleach, rinsed and dryed them throughly, and now they are in my terrarium. I would have baked them aswell but it's way to hot here to have the oven going, plus hydro's pretty expencive around here :/

Do not use PINE, any EVERGREEN or ceder woods the sap can kill them and if you put it in their basking spot it's worst for them.
If you can smell it don't trust it!

Thanks for the advice! I'm almost positive that they are none of the woods you listed, but I am going to double check just to be sure.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
