How do I get people to give me feedback on my threads?

Like the title says I'm just trying to figure out how to get some comments on my threads. Seems like I'm bumping them myself, and while I'm getting views nobody seems to really be interested. Anyone have any pointers?

Where are, you placing your threads? Usually most threads do get responses here, but if they are in the wrong area, you may not get the responses that you need.

There are some issues on which I do not feel qualified to comment on, and I would imagine other folks feel the same. If your thread is in the correct area, I would guess that may be part of the explanation.

I have a similar problem on this forum, and the exact opposite on another. I think it's just llike the person above me said, some people might not feel they have the answer ya know?
