How do I clean off my beardies branch?

I went away for 2 days, and I had my neighbor take care of my beardie. While I was gone, no one cleaned up his cage, and it's a mess. I'm cleaning the rest, but how do I clean off his branch? I really do not want to use bleach.

Bleach is ok in a 10% solution soak then soak the branch in water multiple times to leech the bleach out. Not sure about a good alternative if the soilage is beyond reptile safe antibac.

Is the branch wood or is it a fake/composite branch? If it's wood, just spray it down with some vinegar and scrub it, rinse it off with water and then bake it in the oven on low (250 or so) for 45 min to an hour to sanitize it. I bake sanitize wood and tile and use F10SC or a steam cleaner to disinfect plastic/composite and glass.

It's grape wood. So real wood. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ok great. Baking it should make it sanitary after scrubbing the solid bits off.
