How big is a *approx* 5 month old Beardie?

So I got my Beardie, Jaws, back in the begining of August (the 4th, to be exact) and she couldn't have been more than a month old with how tiny she was. I measured her about a month after I got her (she's approx. 2 months old now) and she was about 4- 4 1/2 inches long (from head to tip of the tail).

Now, she's about (approx.) 5 months old now, and about 10 inches from head to the tip of her tail! You can see alot of change especially the size of her head and tail.

Is 10 inches good? Or is it too big? Or not big enough? I've googled it but came up with multiple answers so I'm unsure and would rather ask an expert or an experienced owner ^^

If your beardie is growing, eating, and otherwise doing well, then the exact growth doesn't matter so much. It's like asking how tall a 10 year old kid should be. Well, depends on the kid!

Sounds like your beardie is thriving under your care, so I wouldn't worry too much on the exact size compared to others. I'm sure you can search the forum posts for "5 month old beardie" and see numerous posts of others who have shared their babies at a similar age - and compare yours to that.

Honestly, though, I wouldn't worry too much on the exact size. As long as your baby is eating, pooping, and growing at whatever rate, it sounds like you are doing well with her

My baby is 13inches and about 75grams. Her hatch date is may 28th so just over 5 months old. I was worried about her being so small so I took her to get vet. He did a fecal float and did a whole check up and told me she's perfectly healthy. He told me there is no set length for a beardie her age and as long as she thriving no needs to worry. She's just a late bloomer I'm glad to know someone else has a late bloomer like me!! Haha

I have an approx. 5 month old, too, and he's just about 14 inches, as I found out this morning! he's a chubby, happy boy though, so I never questioned his size. some just grow really fast, I suppose! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a smaller dragon, either, ahaha. :lol:

at first I thought something was stunting her growth, but everything is near perfect so that can't be it XD
