hi all:

i just got a baby beardy and i am saveing for his finale enclosure. the books that i read say that they need at least 2 foot by 4 foot for a single adult . i am about as handy as a rock ... so i need to buy one . i live in canada , were is the best place to get my guy the best possible home ? thanks for your time

I have my BD in a 75 gallong tank. Would something like that be an option for you?

A 40 gal. breeder tank works as well. You should be able to get that through any pet store. Breeder style tanks work better because they are wider than standard tanks instead of tall.

thanks for your reply guys. sorry for the delay my pc has a temper . i think i will look into the 40 gallon breeder tank and the 75. i just want him to have what is best for him . i have a petsmart relatively near me i can start there .

ok i was at petsmart and they have a exo terra encloser that i really love the look of. it is 36" by 18" by 18" is this too small for my little egor once he reaches adulthood? the box says its good for beardie adults but i never trust that . what do u guys think?

Have you thought of building the crossfire enclosure? I'm just like you, I thought there's no way I can build a birdhouse, let alone a reptile enclosure but it's actually not too difficult and really fun. Plus it's going to be pretty cheap for supplies and you can tweak it here and there to make it really unique! Just my .02

i did give some thought into building one . i just worry about my lack of skill in that department . honnestly i just really really want egor to have the best life possible and i want him happy in his forever home .

Petsmart has a 40g breeder and I believe it's made by Zilla.. They are around $100

i finally got his cage its the exo terra extra tall extra wide and once he gets a bit bigger i will put him in it .on a side note is cellery safe for dragons?
