So my beardie is a juvenile and Is ALWAYS basking. From the time her lights turn on to the time her lights turn off, she's basking. She never goes to the cool side of her tank. It's warm enough because my thermometer currently reads 103.1 degrees. Should I be concerned?

She probably just likes basking. What are you taking the temps with?
To the best of my knowledge, that's nothing of concern for a juvenile. As long as she's otherwise happy (eating well, acting normal etc) I wouldn't be worried.

Okay, I'm taking the temps with this hygrometer thermometer combo. Yeah she eats a lot! She seems happy too. Thank you!

Is it it the type that sticks to the side? Those can be really off. She sounds pretty healthy to me, but you need to get either some probe thermometers or a temperature gun

She is definitely healthy. My beardie loves to bask as well. In fact, that is one of the signs they are healthy. Considering she eats alot, she needs the heat to digest her food properly. I know my beardie can eat up to 50 to 80 crickets in one day (1/4" ones)

Just a note: You'll want your cool side to be approx 20 degrees cooler than your hot side (basking area) this way it gives them a chance to cool off if they need to. So lets say your your basking side is 110 then your cool side should be approx 90 degrees, can be a few degrees off but something like that and also have two temperature gauges on both sides (one by her basking area and the other for the cool side) and at least 1 humidity gauge so you can see if you need to make any changes :D

Okay! Thank you! Yeah my beardie eats SO many crickets I thought she was going to pop! Yeah I leave the cool side of my tank alone. It has hides and rocks but I leave the temperature alone

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
