Hornworms

On average, how many horn worms per day should my baby bearded dragon eat? Weighed him this morning and he was 42g. That was after a very large runny poop. I feel like his poop should be more solid, but I was told not to worry because horn worms are very juicy and will cause watery/runny poop. I want to be sure he's not eating more of them and ignoring his crickets.

I would maybe try another feeder for a staple. While hornworms are good, they aren't the best. Maybe BSFL, crickets, or dubia would work better

Sorry, should of clarified. BSFL stands for black solider fly larvae, which is really healthy and high in calcium. They are commonly know as ReptiWorms, CalciWorms, and phoenix worms

We only give our beardie hornworms rarely. We were told they're like a special treat, not a staple. We do crickets and mealworms regularly, waxworms as a regular treat and hornworms as a very special treat (this, of course, is in addition to greens and veggies)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
