Hornworms

My beardie is about 8 months old and 11" long. Hornworms come in 2 sizes that can grow to 1.5" or up to 4". Are the 4" worms too big to feed my beardie? I'm told that I can feed my beardie 1-2 large hornworms and it'll equal to about the 8 large crickets that I'm feeding daily now- does that sound right?

is the 11 inches nose to tail tip, or nose to vent?

If its nose to tail tip, large hornworms are much too big for your beardie.
If the latter, the big hornworms will be fine.

Tip of nose to tip of tail. Will 1.5" be ok?

I got him in July 2011 and Petco told me that he was 6 months old at that time. That's a guess, he's definitely bigger than when a couple months ago but no real way for me to tell the age-- or is there?

You would have to upload the picture to a photosharing site such as photobucket (which has an app for iphone/ipad) and then you paste the IMG code they give you.
