Hornworms too big for adult?

Hello, my adult bearded dragon is around 16 inches long or so. I have only had him for like a week. Anyways I was wondering if BIG hornworms are too big for a adult bearded dragon? Can they cause impaction? The hornworms are almost full grown? I have heard the rule about don't feed anything bigger than the space between the eyes of your dragon, but that does not apply to a bearded dragon 16 inches plus right? please help..thank you.

Hi. Congratulations on your new guy . I have fed all 3 of my adult beardies huge horns worms never had a problem and since they are soft bodied they won't cause impaction.
