I just gave my dragons horns for the first time and they loved em.
I have actually wanted to breed them for a while now and they are likely my next project.
The problem as you guys know is the food. It is costly. I have spent hours online including this site looking for a recipe. There are some but the ingredients are insane.
You mean to tell me that the horn worm people like great lakes have sourced out all those chemicals? I guess it's possible. Or maybe the insiders have a recipe that is easier to locate the ingredients for? A trade secret.
The horn worms I purchased seemed content eating a collard green that I gave them last night.
The only reason I would want to breed my own is to save money. Having to buy the food commercially does not make breeding them all that attractive.
