Ok so first of all I bought a zilla 50 slimline fixture it is black thing that comes with a piece of plastic blocking the bulb I broke tht plastic off and replaced the zilla bulb with a reptisun 10.0 while I was changing the bulb in the slimline fixture I noticed a gray sleeve sort of thing behind the bulb I can't really explain it... But I just wanna no if I can take it out cuz it is not letting me put the fixture on the screen top completly and yea so I hopeeee someone can help me ASAP thank u

It's meant to be a reflector. I leave mine on, but you can pull it out and the light will still work just fine.

It directs the light of the bulb into a more concentrated area. Fluorescent tubes emit light from all sides...a reflector will redirect some of the light coming from the back of the bulb, so it doesn't go to waste when used in a fixture.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
