Holding head under water?!

I gave Enya her second bath today,...she's 8 months old and apparently finds it funny to hold her head under water and scare me to DEATH!! When I tried to pick her up,...she swam,..underwater...away from me, Like she didn't want to be taken out of it!! Is this normal? At first I thought she was drinking,...but i'm really thinking that isn't the case....
Any info on this would be helpful,

It might be drinking. My dragon puts her head under water when shes drinking (the water doesn't get into her ears though) and I just sit there thinking, how the heck is she breathing. But, nothing bad ever happens, shes just a thirsty girl.

Kate you are fine. I mean your beardie.. :wink: As stated they do drink that way. Also when she sticks her head under she is enjoying it so just be glad you have a beardie that likes bathes.

We use a clear tote 6x18x36 with a rock at one end and if we fill it about 3 inchs deep Spazz swims like a crock.
She will slid off the rock into the water swimm around then clime on the rock.
It scared Rose the first time but they can swim real good.

I've started putting her in the big bath tub,...she LOVES swimming under water...idk what the deal is with that but hey,...as long as she enjoys it!

My guy does this all the time when i give him baths. if you look closely you'll probably see she's just drinking. its nothing to worry about.

Spike does it all the time. hes just enjoying the water. i never knew that such lizards what live in a desert-like place love water so much. lol.
