I have noticed lately that sometimes our bearded dragon goes crazy in his 55 gallon tank and sometimes when he does that his beard turns black........check out the pictures below and if you know why could you please tell me and advice me what to do to stop it. (We have an iguana in the same room but they are not near each other however he might be able to see the iguana so wasn't sure if that could be it or not)

The black beard is perfectly normal. They will black beard usually when they are unhappy about something. Sometimes as a show of dominance with a side of head bobbing or puffing. He may be black bearding your iguana, or if he is new to your house just having a bit of attitude in general. Nothing to be concerned about. If he doesn't cut it out and the other lizard is in his line of sight you may want to move the tank or put an obstruction to his view like some paper on that side. Hope that helps out.

Yes it could well be him seeing the iguna.
Black beards however are part of the bearded dragons nature, and its something you will have to get used to seeing!
They can beard because they are displaying dominance, feeling threatened, hungry, sleepy, frightened, wanting attention, in pain. The list goes on and on.

See! Part of daily life

You do however need to upgrade your tank as soon as you can.
That is a 55gallon however it is a 55 LONG. You need a breeder tank for a bearded dragon. Breeder tanks are much much wider. By the looks of things your guy doesnt have much room to turn in there.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
