Hiding in cave?

My beardie always hides in her cave. She'll come out to eat and bask after. Then she will go back in her cave and sit in there for hours. She always lays under the lip of the cave, right at the entrance. Never anywhere else in the cave. Should I take the cave out for a couple days? Even though she clearly loves it.

If she likes using the cave I'd leave it. I would double check your temperatures throughout the cage and check the height and output of the UVB light as well just to be sure she isn't hiding to get away from intense lighting.

Temps are 110-115 in basking spot and 85 on cool side.

That's a little bit on the warm side. I'd try dropping the temps to maybe 100-105 in the basking area and 75-80 on the cool side by raising the basking light a bit or putting the basking light on a dimmer to cut output a little bit. Perhaps dropping the temps a little will bring her back out of hiding.

I just closed the blinds near her tank, the sun was beating in on it which was the problem. I will pay attention to that the next couple of days and see if her behavior changes, thank you!

Ambient sunlight can definitely make a difference! Hopefully that little adjustment fixes the issue =)
