Hi! I've been pocking around the forums for a while now, since I got my bearded dragon 5 months ago. Figured I would actually start posting! I had been wanting a pet for years but I work to far from home to be able to take care of a dog. So i figured a reptile would be perfect, and decided on a bearded dragon since they seemed friendly and actually enjoy people and being picked up.
I got my bearded dragon, Norbert, from a local pet store about 5 months ago. They say he was a month old. I'll post pictures of him and his set up tomorrow! He's almost 14inches now.
I'm starting to feed him a variety of food now. I usually leave him a dish full of reptiworms in the morning, as well as another dish of greens. Then when I get home from work I feed him dubia roaches. He loves the roaches! he gets his exercise chasing them! lol I've order some Nature Zone bearded dragon bites, I want to try those out. Hopefully he likes them and I can feed them to him if I start running out of food, or if I need to have someone come over to feed him if i'm away.
