Hi newto beardies

Hi my name is Lisa I am from Massachusetts. I decided to add a beardie to my reptile collection. I called an LFS I trust and they said someone had given them a beardie and they rescued it and were going to adopt it out. I went right up when I got there I had not nown he had previous injuries. He was dropped off by owners that had kept in a cage with another male beardie. The other beardie had bit part of his tail off and few toes and when they brought him in his right back foot was hanging off. They had to amputate the foot and he is short a few toes on the other back leg. He also is very stunted he is 1 1/2 years old and 12 inches. He was not getting any food the other beardie was eating it all. I don't now if he can grow aymore or not. I took him home I put out a few super worms then a few turned into 12. I am going to have his new 4x2x2 custom enclosure done by Monday he is in an exo terra 36x18x18 terrarium right now same as a 40 breeder. He is super calm and gives kisses on command but only 1x when you first pick him up. They LFS did a great job nursing him back to health he will be very spoiled.

He's looking good, and maybe he'll come to look even better now that he's in your care. You've done such a good thing to take him in. What other reptiles do you have?

Nice collection! I've always wondered how people can find time for them all... We've only got three pets, two of them relatively-easy mammals (no lighting/heating requirements, amazing!), and I still feel like I can barely keep up!

I alo have 2 doxies, 1 chihuahua, 2 cats, 2 kids , 1 husband. The reptiles keep me busy but I enjoy it.

LOL well one of my sons is going to be 18 and the other 8. My 8 year old Noah loves the reptiles so it is a cool way for us to bond.
