Hello people, I am new here and Have just got 3 Sub-Adult bearded dragons,
I know the very basics to bearded dragons but I am going to ask some questions.

First off, I got these bearded dragons from a local pet shop who had to get rid of them, for all 3 and the setup it cost £90.
I saw that they were using a repti-glo 2.0 UVB light which had stopped working after a day so I got a repti-glo 10.0 from my local reptile store.

Next, I have been told that one is male and 2 are female, from what I am aware, they are all safe to live together. But they also told me that one of them could have eggs inside of her. A question I am going to ask is, would I be ok if I incubated the eggs the same way I would with snake eggs (I know quite a bit about Snake breeding but not too much on bearded dragons)

Is a consistent heat of 32 degrees Celsius ok for the eggs to allow them to hatch healthily?
Also, I read that they can lay clutches of 20-30 eggs, is this true?

Any information about times with lighting is also helpful too,

thanks!

Wow, £90 for 3 dragons and a setup is a great deal! I think the type of UVB light you have is the one that provides 10% UVB, which is correct. Just bear in mind that for this brand you have to replace the light every 6 months. Next time try to get the arcadia one which emits 12% UVB. This is better and only has to be replaced once a year. The basking areas should be within at least 10inches from the UV light.

How big is your enclosure? It must be very big to house 3 dragons! If it is too small you could have problems with fighting when they are older and bigger. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=154908. You might find it beneficial to separate them and have more than one enclosure. Especially that male one! He'll be hassling the female ones too much!

I can't really help you out with the breeding aspect, I have to experience of this. I'm sure there are some forums on here which can help you with that.

No you need a reptisun 10.0 tube light that and arcadia 12% is the only recommended light to use all the other ones can lead to unhealthy dragons and they won't be able to get correct rays from those so only reptisun 10.0 tube light

I just checked and the repti-glo 10.0 is ok to use. Its the same as what I used in my nursery vivarium and it gives out 10% UVB. Just bear in mind that its not the best brand you can get and the life time is shorter. The arcadia ones provide 12% UVB and last longer.

Okay even if you don't seperate the females seperate the male. Two femals can make a lot of eggs and if they don't sell you still have to feed and take care of them. My boy is 6 months old and packing back 100-150 bugs a day. Now say most of your clutches sold but 6. Well you end up with 6 juvis who you are trying to sell but at the same time are eating 100-150 bugs each a day. Just a warning. But careful also with the females. They can get snippy at each other too.

Repti glo uvb is not good for beardies it causes eye probs so reptisun 10.0 is the only good one who ever told u different don't know they stuff about beardies

I've never heard this about the the repti-glo being bad for their eyes. I use the arcadia ones as they're the best ones recommended by my local pet shop. I haven't seen the reptisun zoo-med ones around in the shops

Ur right the arcadias are good ones and so is reptisun but that repti glo is not recommended for beardies everyone i know even breeders said they are no good they don't give out the right wave lengths they cause eye damage they don't help beardie digest food properly

I am aware that I need to change the light soon, but I bought it for a temporary light as I was in a hurry to get one as I Don't know how long they have been going without a working light.
I have been looking at the Arcadia ones lately as they seem to be the best reviewed lights by bearded dragon owners.

There enclosure is too small for them, 3ft to be exact and I am planning on upgrading them once I get the money. I will be keeping the 3ft one for the Male though, until I can afford to upgrade his.
Thanks for the reply, It helps a lot ;)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
