I'm new here. My name is Sarah and I'm a docent at the Lake Superior Zoo. I don't own a beardie of my own , but there are several at the zoo that i just love. One in particular, Thelma, is my favorite. I will get a picture of her to show you all soon. Thelma is one of our outreach animals that i am able to take to various events in Minnesota to discuss reptiles , conservation ,and animal care. It is so much fun.

I'm delighted to find such a wonderful beardie resource and hopefully i can get one of my own soon.

I actually have a family member at the zoo who is a keeper for all of our barnyard animals and she told me out the docent program and that's how i got started .
