I'm Nicole, a new dragon owner as of 10:50 PM last night. (Damn you UPS, damn you!)

I had a bit of a question. I know beardies shouldn't be handled too much right after going to a new home, however, the little guy will not leave my fiance alone. He simply won't leave John's hand on his own, and kept climbing higher every time John would try to put him down. He also wasn't resting till John held him, and he fell right asleep. (It was absolutely adorable, I might add)

Um, is this an exception to the rule? He did have a very rough transport, cause of a UPS mix up. (They LOST him!) He hasn't really eaten, but he loved having a bath. And even then, he was constantly on either John's or my hand.

BTW, here's a cute pic of our new baby getting his bath.

Awww, he's so cute :love5: Welcome to our forum :D I think it all depends on the dragon, I have one that needed to be left along alot in the begining and I have another one (she's new) that loves to be held :dontknow: Good for you, you have one that obviously likes people right off the bat :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
