hey everyone!..please help!

hello everyone!! mine name is david, i have 2 BD's one male (hector) and one female (lizzy) . they're awsome!! but i'm concerned, my female is about 9 months i'm guessing? and the male i'm not sure he was gave to me about 6 months ago.i'm guess he atleast a year old. when i first got the male i interduced him to lizzy, 6 months ago, they got along just fine. now recently lizzy has been hiding in her tube. if she comes out(very rarely) hector attacks her , biting her on the back of the neck and pining her down, i have them seperated now but lizzy is still hiding and not eating< what do i do? will i be able to put them in the same cage again?? please help!! thanks

Your beardies will have to be seperated permanently. Your female sounds very stressed, and if she is injured you will probably need to take her to the vet. Your male will continue to attack the female if you house them together and probably eventually kill her, sorry to say. This won't end well. They sould be kept in seperate enclosures out of view from one another. Good luck with the two little ones, David.

hey thanks for the info. i found it kinda strange beause they had been living together for a while and this is all recent. i'll get some pics as soon as can..

your male dragon is trying to mate, and the female is stressed. permanent separation... no way to get around it.

I agree with above. the biting goes with mating and he was trying to mate with her. she obviously didnt want it.. now you moved her.. which is GREAT! but now she is dealing with relocation stress and the stress of him and his attacks.. she cant see him can she?? you can take out the hide.. since shes hiding all the time.. and give her lots of baths to keep her hydrated and help her thru this

hey guys thanks for everything, i didnt move her, i moved him, i let them run around together this morning, they got along just fine, she's out and about. not hiding anymore and she ate a tons of crickets this morning and this afternoon, she doing alot better now, thanks alot!!! like i said i'll get pics as soon as i can.
