hey yesterday i got my first bearded dragon... he is 10 weeks old and about 6 inches long... i absolutly love his colors... you really cant see it in these pictures but sometimes he will be dark brown and grey and others he is dark orange and yellow!!! he is an amazing little guy... at least i think he is a guy lol by the looks of it he is but it could change with time so.... time will tell!! Lord Flamefoot is just his temporary name... so what do you think his name should be? i am just so hapy i finally got him... i have been wanting one for years and my mom finally gave in! here are some pics hope you enjoy!!

He's very sweet looking. I love that last photo best and the one with him in his feeding dish. Too cute.

I think you might already know this, but that thermometer on the side of his cage isn't a digital one with a probe, is it? People tend to tell you that those are sort of inaccurate and the might want to get either a digital one with a probe, or thermo gun that reads the temps accurately on the basking spot.

Other than that, I'd have to congratulate you for finally bending your mother's arm. It only took me like a month or two to get my mother to cave in. Today she loves my beardie and even holds him when there's lots of sun.

And I'd also like to tell you that you have a very handsome beardie, or should I say smexy. Either way he gorgeous.

As for a name try thinking of using something like, Havannah or Sahara or Krup.

Haha, my mom said nope, absolutely not. So instead of arguing I went downstairs pulled out an old 20 Long and got my dad to get me tiles (without knowing what it was for) and ever sense I put them in and showed them some colorful beardies I havent heard a no.
