Not his salad, but he's going after the superworms like a champ!! I'm so excited!
Figuring on his discolouration to be an upcoming shed, I've been bathing him each afternoon now. Mind you he's done after 5 mins in there but I hold onto him and plunk my hand under the water with him laying on it - silly guy didn't figure that one out for a whole day, lol... today he climbed up my arm, yeah, short sleeves too, whoops.
So after his bath he was ansty and wanted to go everywhere but in his towel. I dried him off a bit and offered his tank. He eagerly accepted, went over to his rock and then looked at me with his head tilted to the side. I figured, hey, he's alert and busy, wonder if he's hungry. Tossed 10 superworms into his dish and he immediately went after them. Gobbled up 6 and left the rest. I left them in there since they can't go anywhere and left him to bask for a bit. An hour later I brought him out in the sunshine for a few minutes in a laundry basket with a towel in the bottom. He liked that action and when I put him back in the tank afterwards he went right for his dish and ate up two more supers without any hesitation.
Now this is good big time. He's still not interested in his salad, but I'll take whatever I can get with him right now. Happy happy me!!
