We've had the coldest winter in years here, and for the first time my little buddy Hope went into a full brumation. He slept...and slept...and slept. He's been asleep for months! He woke up for about a day in January, but that's about it. But finally three days ago he got up and started basking and moving around. And I got to hand feed him some vegetables and water him! Yay! I've really missed my little buddy. I hate brumation. But I guess it makes me appreciate him more. 
Perhaps now that he's awake I'll get him a special insect treat...
