Kaiju looks happy in the new viv. :) :) :)

I have but one request, please remove that crushed walnut substrate. They say it is digest able but, I assure you, it's not. It has sharp edges and, if ingested can perferate her intestinal walls and, can still cause impaction. Plus it is also very dusty which is bad for her respiratory system.

I use newspaper on my tank as well, I had carpet and I removed it as it held too much bacteria and it was a pain to clean. At this point it's up to you if you want to get carpet but I would recommend the newspaper or even tile over the carpet. That's just my preference.

I hope he starts feeling better!

Hello,

Kaiju is looking very good now! :D The changes you have made should really help her out.
The basking temperature/spot should be in a range of 95-110 for her at her age, with a cooler end of around 78-82 or so. How are you measuring the temperatures?
If she isn't eating her greens like she should be, try putting a few worms in with the greens, or brightly colored pieces of bell pepper, or minced up apple or blueberry to give some color.

The non adhesive shelf liner is a good, you can get it at Bed, bath & beyond or Walmart. Easy to clean and washable. Bugs can't get under it. I got rid of the carpet and put in the shelf liner in a light sand color.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
