HELP

I have 13 bearded dragon hatchlings. 4 weeks old. This morning I turned their lights on and discovered one of the dragons was dead. I began to separate them to feed them and realized there were two more babies not eating and really limp . HELP ! What did I do wrong ? How can I help them ?

I am no expert on babies- but I would separate the 2 little ones not doing so well - they need warmer temps for younger ones - 100-105 I believe ---also they need good UVB- that should be inside the tank and close to it as possible -- what size tank do you have them in? They should be eating crickets or dubias -- more crickets if thats what your feeding them - dubias are more filling! Are you dusting them? calcium powder D3- and they should be getting vitamins as well - the tip of the week gives proper UVB lighting--- that is on right side of page --

-Thank you so much karrie for your advice . They are in a 10gal tank. They have both uvb and a heat lamp . Always 105-110 . They eat crickets and collards. I have not dusted the crickets . Is that my problem ?

They need the calcium for sure-- I am hoping others weigh in on this convo-- but I would suggest you move them to a bigger tank -- 10 gal seems small for 13 of them in there-- but you should get the ones that are having a hard time out for sure - I would PM Drachea613 I think her name is Tracie- she can help you w/ the babies for sure -- click on her name and you should be able to send her a message -

Good advice from Karrie. Tracie might merge this with DD's other thread on the E.R. , I've made some similar comments + shown a pic of a plastic tote set up that I used to use when I had hatchlings.
