My beardie, Reptar, is about 3 inches including his tale, I haven't even had him for a week and he's hardly eating. He's eaten a couple crickets, so my petstore told me to try a small hornworm, and he loved that. So should I just keep buying him hornworms to eat ? If so how many a day should he eat ?

Mine loves horn worms, but I dont use them as a staple. They are pricey. I use them as treats. I also have a roach colony. It's expensive to start , but worth it.

Proper husbandry plays a huge role in appetite.

Since you haven't had your dragon for a week yet, it is likely he is going through relocation stress, which can last a week or more in some cases. As long as your setup is fine, give him some time to get over his relocation stress and his big appetite should come in full force.

Well today I put a hornworm in there just so he would eat it, and he gobbled it right up, and all the crickets I got for him are pretty much dead but I thought Id see if he would still eat one and he did ! He are 3 dead crickets, so I think he's getting his appetite back !

That's good that he's eating. I wouldn't feed him dead crickets though, they died for a reason so don't want to take the chance of feeding ones that were sickly before they passed.
