My 10 month old female bearded dragon is sticking her head up opening her mouth and making a wheezing sound while pushing her beard out lately. What does this mean?

She is in 70 gallon tank, reptisun coil UVB 10.0 light and 120 watt basking light temps are around 100 on hot side and 80 on cool side.

Just by going on the wheezing I would think a respitory infection. A vet is what you need to wrap that up. For now bump up your temps a bit and ditch the coiled uvb. Get the reptisun flurecent tube. Its better, safer and way more consistant.

Do you have a humidity reading in the tank? And what substrate are you using?

Humidity is around 40 (hard to get it down in FL lol) and I'm using fine grain play sand

The sand could be the causeing it , the dust that is .
Yes it is hard to get the humidity down here in FL . With the humidity and dust fom the sand it's going to make for a mix of problem .
Both my viv's where at 48 % this morning.
I whould change over to shelf liner or tile.
I just got a boxe of tile at lowes for 20$ over the weekend .
There 11 12 in x 12 in per box

shes doing fine now. seems that she was gettin stressed out from my male across the room. i relocated him and tada lol
