It's great that he's growing? What is his/her name?

Here is a list of everything that is good/bad for them: http://tinyurl.com/n6yzg6

I know that too many carrots aren't good because of the Vitamin A and that mealworms aren't ideal because of their low nutritional value. Another option to vary from crickets are phoenix worms, which can be found here.

Your veggies should be offered all day, and your live feeders should be offered 2-3 times per day.

As for lighting and temperatures, what UVB bulb do you use? Is it a tube or coil/compact?
What are your basking and cool side temps?

Basking spots should be 95*F minimum for digestion. For a baby the ideal range is more like 105-115*F. Unfortunately That bulb is not a good one. The best UVB bulb is the reptisun 10.0. Lack of good UVB can severely decrease appetite.

Welcome to Godzilla!!

I have to share my story about the slimline desert bulb. . . it contributed to the death of our first dragon, Ash, and made my second dragon, Spark, really sick until I turned it off. Spark was a great eater when we first got him, loved his veggies and ate his criks really well. About ten days after we got him, he stopped eating well, became very lethargic and lost a lot of his color. I could see his behavior changing to that of Ash, right before he died. I came on this site and did a search and discovered that the slimline I was told by the pet store was an okay bulb, was not. I turned it off immediately and fifteen minutes later I could see a difference in Spark's attitude and demeanor. Bad UVB bulbs can make some dragons sick and it had that effect on both of mine. The best UVB bulb is a Repti-Sun (NOT REPTI-GLO) 10.0 flouresant tube. The cheapest place to order them from is Pet Mountain (google it). They can be hard to find in the stores. (I know both Petsmart and Petco in Colorado stock the Repti-glo and slimline bulbs.)

this is the info of the uvb

Zoo Med Reptisun 10.0 UVB Bulb for Reptiles
18"Length - 15 Watts
SKU: 352659
The UVB wavelength helps to prevent or reverse Metabolic Bone Disease in green iguanas as well as other species of lizards in captivity as well as strengthens and improves shell growth on all captive turtles and tortoises.
UVA wavelength increases appetite, physical activity, helps to induce reproductive behaviors and is beneficial to the psychological well-being of captive reptiles and amphibians
Safer than adding powdered or liquid synthetic D3 supplements, as the UVB wavelength allows all reptiles the ability to regulate their own Vitamin D3 levels by endogenous synthesis as they would in nature
Wavelength penetrates a full 20" from the bulb's surface
Pure quartz glass sleeves
The bulb's UVA/UVB wavelength remains effective for 1 year (Replace bulbs yearly)
Available in a variety of sizes

That is only the bulb. You can find a fixture either at that sight or at a hardware store (ex Lowe's or Home Depot). With that bulb, the inch length is more important. You want to cover at LEAST half the length of your tank.

Does it cover at least half of your tank? If so, then yes you can use the old fixture as long as you get the right bulb. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
