Hey all...

I am new to the world of reptiles and man am I lovin it!!!...Although I am not entirely sure as to how big I should make an enclosure that would be not only big enough for my lil Dusti (my bd) and for Nieryn (my cwd)...Nieryn will get to about 3.5' to 4' long (mostly tail) and we all know the size of a full grown beardie...lol...so what I'm tryin to see is if anyone might know anything or has any ideas that might help me along...I am set for money but would still like to not spend a fortune doin it...lol...I would really like to have Nieryn's viv on the top and to have Dusti on the bottom...My idea that I have been thinking bout was to make an entertainment-like set up so that I can have me 50" tv in the center...we have surround sound so the sound wont be bellowing right in the tanks...to make it a bit easier on the lil ones...but I would really like to have them within my sight as much as possible...as would anyone that has been blessed with these magical beings...so any ideas/links/help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I wouldn't have the tv included. Water dragon should probably be on bottom consider the weight of the water.

depending on if u have a male or female water dragon you may not need as big of a cage. i have a male so it can easily get up to 40 inches tops. females only get around 24-26 inches. like you saw in my thread zaze the CWD is getting a cage 7 ft tall, 30 inches wide and 5 ft long. if say not to d a tier type thing like we were discussing before because water dragons need a lot f height no matter what sex it is. minimum 4 and a half feet high but thats pushing it cuz if u get a male then it cant really climb like they need to lol. and for the beardie id personally do a 4' 2' 2'. its a bit big but who doesnt want to spoil our beardies? :p

or depending on your celing height you can do this

CWd on top beardies on bottom

make a 5 ft long by 30 inches deep by like 18 inches tall for the beardie. then have a 9 or so inch space above this cage then build the CWD cage on top of it arounf 6 ft tall 5 ft long 30 inches deep or something like that. u need the space for air circulation and your lighting and just make it plexiglass doors on the front of both cages. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
