HELP!! Strange poop and behaviour

both my beardies have been pooing a lot less maybe once a week I have to give the female a bath to make he poo they are in seperate tanks all correct lighting and correct temps , my female done this poo today and it looks strange to me at the bit I between te urate and poo is a dark orangey colour and also the male done the same thing but his poo was mushy and really stank bad , I feed them chrickets mario worms wax worms roaches a viriaty of bugs but mainly chrickets greens I feed regular are rocket spring greens endive and escarole green beans , she never eats any greens though and hasn't for months they are both around a year old , can't afford to go vets as iv been there already and treated them for worms a few months back was not happy with the way the bet treated them and handled them can't find any other reptile vets near me

The poops look normal to me, I can't see anything wrong, but I"m not a vet either. As for your male with the stinky poop, could be parasites. I'd suggest you find a probiotic to feed them and that sometimes stimulates their appetities, but it also puts good bacteria into their gut. I use this site for my liquids, www.bug-de-lite.com, Tracie is in the States. I have a friend in England so will send him your thread to see where he gets his supplies.

My beardie did similar weird poop when he had parasites. Like the pic you've shown it was smaller than usual.
Normally you can just take the poo sample to the vet for analysis and then buy the medicine. Then you don't have to concern yourself with bringing them in. If they're housed together and it is parasites they will most likely both need treatment.

Okay thank you sweetiepie9 that would be a big help and what so would yoghurt work a probiotic ? And no Russell the vets have told unfortunately if they are goving them meds they need to see the animal I can get a test done where I get emailed the results and I send the poo away to be tested but then if it came back with all the medical mumbo jumbo I wouldn't have a clue what meds I need I had them tested and it came back traced coccoid or something can't remember the word it was something like that though

Coccidia I think you are refering to. This is a very common parasite for BD's and treatable. If you sent away the sample and got the email response I'm sure somebody on here can translate the medical stuff? I know of a few of the medicines for parasites as my BD had problems with them. I've still got the meds!

You can buy soy yoghurt as a probiotic, any fruit flavour will be fine. I had trouble finding soy yoghurt, so I ordered from Tracie's thread. She's very good with medicines, so is Cheryl at www.beardeddragon.co. She's a breeder that owns a store & is very knowledgeable about parasites & medicine. So you could always email it to her and then she'll tell you what medicine you need. Or you can pm to Tracie, who's a moderator on this site, at drache613 and send her the result of the test. She'll also tell you what medicine to get and her site also has most of the medicines used for parasites of all sorts. Hope that helps.
