HELP! SOMETHING IS WRONG!

I don't know much about the dragon since I rescued him a few years ago, but I think that he's dying. Can anyone help? Here is the situation--

My dragon is usually an active guy. When I would walk by and speak, he would immediately open his eyes and look at me with no trouble. For the past two days, he hasn't moved at all or opened his eyes. His eyes have a sunken-look about them and his skin doesn't look normal. He hasn't eaten, since there is no resoponce. When I pick him up, he breaths, so I know he is still alive. His breathing is very weak. At first I thought he was dehydrated so I moved him to a large dish, letting him soak in semi-warm water. There has still been no eye-opening or moving since I began this. I would let him soak for an hour and then I would move him to under his light. Can anyone help?????

Hi
He is seriously underweight. How long has it been since he has eaten? What are you feeding him?Does he have a uvb if so what kind and how old is it? First thing you need to do is get him in a bath of warm water for at least 20 minutes.Dont leave him alone in his condition he is likely to drowned. Can you get him to a vet quickly. The best thing to do is get him on IV fluids.

I've given him multiple baths in the past two days (he is soaking as we speak). The thing is, he only got a little better, but not by much. The poor guy hasn't eaten. Is there any way I can get him nutrients without forcing food into his mouth?

**It is 11pm right now, and I live out in the middle of nowhere, so vet is not an option til tomorrow.

Ok well is he just soaking in a dish or do you have him in a fully warm bath up to his armpits. This does make a differance. You can try to syringe feed him veggie babyfood diluted with water warmed in a microwave with a pinch if his calcium supplement like repcal.Warm it in the microwave and can give it to him with a needless syringe but he really does need immediate vet care. Please answer my questions in regards to his lighting and exactly when and what the last thing he ate was. This is important for me to know so I can try to help you and your beardie.

He is completely in the water- minus his head, top of his front feet, and tip of the tail. I can't get the syringe til tomorrow, is there anything I can give him right now? He ate some lettuce and meal worms on the 26th(monday). There is a 40watt bulb for his heat source.

Was he eating regularly before that?Hiw much and how often? So no uvb then? This is something you have to get him asap and I am not sure what size his tank is but I dont think a 40 watt bulb is enough for heat plus you need to get his temps accurate. Here is a list of things he has to have if he is going to have a chance at getting through this:
Reptisun 10.0 linear UVB and fixture.
Digital thermometer with a probe for measuring temps.
Calcium supplement like repcal with d3 phosphorous free.
Herptivite multivitamin.
Baby food veggie and also chicken or turkey.
Repta-aid critical care formula.
I am also going to strongly urge you to get him to a vet.He is in need of supplemental feeding and fluids.
I also recommend that any loose/partical substrate in his tank be removed and replaced with a solid substrate like papertowels, butcher paper, slate tile, non adhesive shelf liner or reptile carpet. As for feeding him tonight you can try spoon feeding him the babyfood or even sugarfree applesauce if you have any.

We don't have any baby food or applesauce, and no stores are open this late. Vet is an option but only tomorrow. I have let him soak in warm water for (2) 20-minute periods. Can I leave him in the water all night, or is that too risky? Also, I go to school so I won't be here all day, what can I do to assure his survival while I'm gone for about 6 hours? (He will go to vet once I get home.)

No dont leave him in the water all night youy will subject him to an RI.Is there anyone that can get him to the vet wile your in school tomorrow?I am sorry but I can only tell you that you need to get those items and you need to make sure his very comfortable tomorrow and hope for the best. There really isnt any way for me to ensure his survival I am sorry.Wat you can do if you want tomorrow before you leave is if you have a blender you can take some of his veggies and blend them up until they are like a babyfood texture and try giving him that. Its a bit late to try to feed him now.

One more thing before I am forced to try to get any sleep. How do I transfer him to the vet? It gets pretty cold around here, about 5-15 degrees F. Even though it is a short distance to the vet, it will still be very cold for him. Any ideas?

Most of the supplies are on the way. With multiple baths he's doing better, but he's still weak from not eating for so long. I'll keep all of you posted on his condition.

Well, he's been bathing a lot and his color is back to normal. I gave him some repta-aid about an hour ago and he's able to stand up on his front to feet and his movements aren't as weak. But he still won't open his eyes...

How about the babyfood have you been giving that to him also?He isnt opening his eyes because he is very weak you have to get some nourishment in him and get him under proper ligting/uvb as soon as possible,ok?Good that you got him the repta aid.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
