HELP SICK BABY

ok here gos i have a 37inch long by 18inch deep by 17 inch tall tank with best guess a 6 to 9 month old little one hot side is 93-102 cool side 75-85 useing a repti basking spot light 100w and a reptisun 10.0 uvb compact bulb for uvb (i have reptisun 10 tubes on the way but no stores had them so ya) useing paper towels for sub have been feeding greens two times a day and crickets once daily and some meal worms every other day i powder crickets about five times a week with zoo meds reptivite with d3
so that is my set up and what i am doing for my boys i have three little ones each in the same set up but differant tanks(am working on some stackables now)
ANYWAY i have one little guy who went from eating 8 to 10 crickets a day to eating only 1 or 2 in the last two days he is pooping daily its not runny and seems well formed but there is alot of luqid with it but also penty of the white stuff he is very lazy the last 2 day and just real droopy his color looks good except on his head its a little grey or dull his feet where shedding yesterday and he shed a little under his chin but nowhere else he will eat some greens if you hand feed him but not much PLEASE PLEASE HELP I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and ya my other 2 seem fine very active eat ok there are good
almost forgot they get a soak daily (dont real like it)



WHAT CAN I DO THE ONLY REP VET ANYWHERE AROUND ME IS TWO AND HALF HOURS AWAY SCARED THE STRESS WOULD DO HIM IN

I know you mentioned Reptivite, but are you giving them any calcium? They should be getting calcium 5 times a week, and vitamins only 2 times a week.
When are your new Reptisuns arriving? You might just want to shut off the compacts until the tubes come.
The bad lighting and lack of calcium could definatly be messing with his appetite. You might want to ditch the mealworms too... They arent very good for young beardies.
They should be eating ALOT more than 10 crickets a day to. Is that all you are offering them, or wont he eat any more?

First suggestion: Turn off the compact uvb. He'll be better with no uvb for a while. Those compacts seem to cause them to have to close their eyes (PKC) and then they don't want to eat. Sometimes you must turn off any uvb until their eyes heal before putting on the good uvb.

It's good you have the reptisun 10 tube on the way.

heres a run down on what my boys have or eat normaly
bob eats any where from 10-15 crickets a day plus veggies 2 times daily
pigglet (we just got her friday ) doesnt seem to eat hardly anything been like 2-3 crickets a day plus some greens 2 times a day

jay my sick boy was eating 10-12 crickets a day up until yesterday when he would only eat two and today he only ate 2 and some greens


i put the boys one at a time in a feeder tank and drop the crickets in one at a time until they stop eating them then i will let them sit for 4 or 5 min if they dont eat after that i put them back in there tank i only just started using the vit powder and was told to use it 5 times a week up to that time i was dusting with t rex bearded dragon calicum plus 5 times a week

and yes i have removed all the uvb bulbs for now that was the first thing i did today when he was still not acting like my little man

Are they all housed together by an chance?? Stress due to dominance may well also be affecting their appitie. As they are solitary creatures its nor recommended to house them together, they do much better alone, and there is less chance of a finger/tail getting eaten or worse.

if they are housed together look for inexpensive viv on craigslist or even on freecycle. Mealworms=no good fot that age--he might be impacted, thus while the decrease as well as the fact that if housed together he is stressed and is eating less.

it could also be due to an upcoming shed? just a thought because you mentioned discoloration.

i agree -- calcium good, coil uvb off, and no housing beardies together.

Its good you killed the coil. Cut the reptivite back to 2x a week. even tho it has calcium its to much in the vitamin dept. You can cut your soaks to 2 to 3 x a week as well. Put up an update a day or 2 after you have killed the coil to let us know if there is any diff in your pooper.

jay still not 100% still very droopy hes has had 7 crickets today 3 this and 4 at noon or so and am going to try more agian in a few he did have a big poop today oh ya he had some greens to uvb off temps good so hoping he is doing better question should i be dusting with the calci powder 5days one meal then vit powder the other 2days one meal?

yes on the calcium and vitamins, 1 meal a day is when you dust (tho they are fed more often than that).

update on baby jayhey had 14 crickets today and some squash and colard greens still not real busy and looking droopy but at least he is eating
was wondering if anyone can tell me how long pet moutian takes to get your order to you still waiting on lights

droopy eyes is usually slight dehydration. give ur pooper a bath
