My bearded dragon toothless has been acting different for the past few days. he ( I have no clue what gender because I cant tell) has been having bowel movements every day for the past week whereas he usually has them once every 3 days or so. I read that this can be an indication of being gravid so I kept an eye on him. well, today he started digging in he corner of his cage and I kinda started panicking, he has been refusing veggies for the past while and i have been trying the tough love attempt to get him to eat. problem is he hasn't been getting much calcium because about a week before the tough love diet he refused to eat his calcium covered crickets and he hasn't eaten any veggies yet. in a panic i got him to eat about 15 calcium crickets but i know that wont do much if any. his temps are around 26 Celsius in the cool end and 35 in the warm end. he has a reptisun 10.0 tube uvb and a reptisun 150 watt heat bulb in a 75 gallon tank his substrate is one of those reptile mats so he doesn't get impacted. im panicking because i know they need lots of protein and calcium before they lay and I don't know if he has gotten enough. because of covid only the emergency vet is open which i A) cant afford and B) i have no clue if they have any experience with reptiles. What should I do.??? I cant tell what gender he is (breeder said it was a he but i cant see the bulges. he hasn't gained much wait in the past couple of months staying roughly at 500-520 grams and he has been at 18 inches for a while now. he is just starting to shed again. could one of you help tell me what gender because if he is in fact male then i have less to worry about! thanks!

Hi there, the tail isn't arched quite enough but I do believe it's a female. At 18" and 500 or so grams she's got plenty of weight on her. She looks healthy so just set up a laybox for her [ see how on youtube , look for Dr. Dragon video ] She shouldn't have any problem.

Hello,

I agree, your dragon does appear to be female, so she might have infertile eggs.
I would definitely make a laybox for her just in case.
Are you using a good UVB light also?
She does look to be of good weight & of physical condition.
Let us know how she is doing.

Im using a reptisun t5 uvb light and i have a zoo med heat lamp basking spot is about 43 celcius and is 7 inches away from the uvb lamp. the reason im concerned is because she hasn't been getting much calcium recently. Is there any way i could help with that aside from making sure she gets calcium every day? thanks!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
