I don't like bugs at ALL! Lol but it seems more reasonable to bread them then to have to buy and have them shipped constantly. I would like to raise a feeder and isn't nasty,(like roaches, i don't think I could handle that) and something cheap to start and easy ?? Idk if any safe feeder like this exists lol. But I once had phinox worms shipped and they werent nasty, I was wondering how hard it his to raise them.

i use huge tongs to get my roaches out they arnt that bad once you get over the fact that they are roaches they save so much money and once they get going you never have to buy more feeders

But if they ever escaped, I would be in the next state lol. I couldnt even imagine. And I've heard that their fast runners. I wouldnt be able to catch them of they did escape. I mean occasionally a cricket escapes the cage and I'm Freakn out and calling some one to kill it. Lol roaches are like outta the question lol.

Honestly Roaches are the easiest to breed but I don't think I could ever do that either b/c i HATE roaches.. Phoenix worms are very hard b/c u actually have to breed a fly.. Crickets are doable but they are nasty and stink..

I was a little hesitant also, because they were roaches hahaha. but now, it is the best decision i've made, feeder wise.

I initially felt the same way about roaches but really you don't even have to touch them. The only ones I've touched are the nymphs which aren't that bad. I haven't picked up any of the adult males or females, they still creep me out! Roaches are the best and easiest by far. You can do it :D

I had one escapee when I was changing the egg flats, my wife saw it on the counter. It didn't even try to run away, it all but ran to my hand to go back to it's bin.

They are quite easy actually. I have a plastic bin from Walmart, with styrofoam glued to the outside. A heatpad underneath, egg flats inside. I feed them squash, oranges, kitten food and water crystals. Then I leave them alone to do their thing. That's the basic rundown.

I raise dubia's but also Supers. Depending on your beardies size you can raise supers they are probably the 2nd easiest. They live long and don't require a lot. The best is you can control the breeding since you need to stress them out and put them by themselves to make them morph.

Dubia can't find the guide i used but there is a ton around here and its so easy it's not even funny

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
