That doesn't sound very good. It could possibly be a type of fungus.
Is there any way you could post a pic of his stomach for us to look at?

Once you get a free account set up on phototbucket, upload your pics.
Under each pic will be an img code, copy that and paste it into your post.

If it is on his stomach than I would guess that it could be a burn. In which case treating it with Antifungals would really make it worse. Even with great pictures either one would be hard to diagnose without a skin sample. I would try to get to the root of the problem. Do you have a heat rock or under tank mat? Those are common sources of stomach burns. Any strong heat or hot rock could have caused a burn from below as beardies can not feel heat under their tummies. On the other hand if it is fungal than it would most likely be caused by a moist substrate or fungus in the substrate. How long have you had him? Is it possible that he came with fungus? I would remove any substrate and put him on paper towels. What is the tanks overall humidity and is it possible that he has been laying in a wet area? If you can determine what caused the spot than you can better go about treating it.

Well I would unplug the rock regardless. Beardies just do better with overhead basking heat as they sense heat from the top of their heads. And I would try to go ahead an clean the area with some iodine or peroxide and then apply a coat of neosporin. It won't hurt anything and if it gets better than you know it was a burn. If it does not improve and you can't make it to the vet to get a skin sample looked at than you can try a gentle lotramin cream.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
